Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
